Terms of Service
1. What this is
TheNeverEndingBook ("the Site") is a collaborative writing project where visitors contribute sentences to a collectively authored work. By submitting content, you agree to these terms.
2. Your contributions
By submitting a sentence to the Site, you grant TheNeverEndingBook and its operator a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display your contribution in any medium or format, whether now known or later developed, including but not limited to digital, print, and audio formats.
You retain ownership of your contribution but acknowledge that it becomes part of a larger collaborative work. You cannot withdraw individual contributions once they are published on the Site.
You represent that your contribution is original, does not infringe on any third party's rights, and does not contain unlawful content.
3. Content moderation
All submissions are subject to automated content moderation. We reserve the right to reject, remove, or hide any contribution at our sole discretion, for any reason, without notice.
4. No account required
You may contribute without creating an account. If you choose to create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials.
5. Rate limiting
We use technical measures including IP-based rate limiting and browser fingerprinting solely to prevent abuse and enforce fair usage. This data is not used for tracking or advertising.
6. The collaborative work
The collective work produced on this Site is owned by the Site operator. Individual contributors retain rights to their individual sentences but grant the license described in Section 2 for the collective work.
7. No guarantees
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site at any time.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
